Frequently Asked Questions

  • You must be 18 years or olderto use the app.
  • Age verification may be required before accessing monetization, payouts, or other restricted features.
  • Misrepresenting your age will result in account termination and forfeiture of earnings.

To set up a FAME.IAM account:

  1. Download the FAME.IAM app from the Apple App Storeor Google Play Store.
  2. Open the app.
  3. Choose a sign-up method (Apple, Google, or email) and follow the steps to create your account.

If you’re not logging in with Apple or Google:

  1. Tap your Profile
  2. Tap the Settingsgear (top right corner).
  3. Scroll near the bottom and tap Change Password.
  • Tap Profileat the bottom right corner.
  • Tap Edit Profile.
  • Tap Change.
  • Select Take Photoor Upload Photo.
  • Crop the photo and tap Save.
  • Tap Profileat the bottom.
  • Tap Edit Profile.
  • Tap the Username fieldand update accordingly.

  • You can link Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube to your profile.

    Steps:

    1. Tap Profileat the bottom.
    2. Tap Edit Profile.
    3. Next to Links, tap Add.
    4. Select a platform and follow login steps.
  • Content must follow our Community Guidelines and legal standards.
  • Do not post:
  • Harassment, hate speech, sexually explicit, or violent material.
  • Malware, spam, or misleading ads.
  • Copyrighted content without proper rights.
  • Deepfakes or synthetic media that deceive or harm others.
  • FAME.IAM may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
  • Coins (Flames)are purchased using Apple or Google in-app payments.
  • Giftsare digital items you can send to creators.
  • Sending a Gift deducts Coins from your wallet and credits the creator’s wallet with FLAMES.
  • Note:Flames and Gifts cannot be refunded, exchanged for cash, or transferred.
  • FLAMESare recognition credits creators earn when receiving Gifts.
  • They can only be converted into payouts if you meet the requirements.
  • FLAMES cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for Coins.

  • To get paid, you must complete your Stripe Payment Profile.

    Steps:

    1. Tap Profile.
    2. Tap Edit Profile.
    3. Scroll to the center of the page and tap Setup Payment Profile.
    4. Complete the Stripe onboarding
    5. Once done, the button will change to Stripe Setup Completed.
  • Minimum payout threshold: $50.00.
  • Payouts are processed on a Net-45 schedule(e.g., January earnings are eligible by March 15).
  • Payouts are sent via Stripe.
  • Identity verification is required.
  • Taxes are your responsibility.
  • No advances or early payouts are available.
  • Tap Profile.
  • Tap the Wallet iconin the upper-right corner (next to the gear icon).
  • Or, if in Settings, scroll to Walleton the left-hand menu.
  • Advertising is subscription-based.
  • All campaigns must comply with affiliate program rulesand FAME.IAM’s Community Guidelines.
  • Prohibited ads:
  • False or misleading claims.
  • Malicious links or harmful code.
  • Infringing, hateful, or explicit content.

Activate an Ad Campaign:

 

  1. Tap Profile → Edit Profile → Purchase Ad Campaign.
  2. Subscribe to a plan.
  3. Wallet will display Active Ad Campaign.

 

Upload With Ads:

 

  • Upload your video as usual.
  • Tap Add Advertising Info.
  • Add:
  • Product/service images
  • Store or affiliate links

 

Cancel Anytime:

 

  • iPhone: Settings → Subscriptions → FAME.IAM
  • Android: Google Play → Subscriptions → FAME.IAM
  • Campaign stays active until the billing cycle ends.

  • To go live:
  1. Tap Createin the bottom navigation.
  2. Tap Livesin the top right corner.
    • To watch lives:
  • Tap Discover → Live(top right).
  • Note: You can only view lives of people you follow.

  • Yes. When starting a live:

    1. A pop-up will appear with Save My Live Session.
    2. If selected, your stream is saved.
    3. After ending, you’ll receive a push notification and inbox message.
    4. Your live will be available to download for 24 hours.
  • Record or upload a video.
  • Preview your video.
  • To let others download it, check the box Enable Audience Downloads before posting.
  • Accounts can be deleted anytime in Settingsor by emailing info@fameiamapp.com.
  • Deleted accounts cannot be restored.
  • Flames, Gifts, and balances are forfeited upon account termination.
  • A 60-day informal resolution periodis required before legal action.
  • Disputes must be filed within 1 year.
